Custom Design
Custom designs are created using old fashioned craftsmanship and artistry. All of our lampshades are handcrafted, and custom designed to exactly meet your specifications.

Your custom design starts with choosing a frame. With our design department you have the luxury of designing your own frame with our welder custom creating it for you. Our welder is great at creating new frames using the drawings of your own design. We also provide a welding service for fixing broken frames.

Having become firmly established as one of central Texas’ leading lampshade makers, we are here to provide you with just the right materials for your lampshade. Custom designed fabrics and trims are a challenge that we give care, patience and attention to. We have in stock numerous silks, linens, cottons, and brocades. Should we fail to have a specific color that you wish, there is always the option of dying to match a color sample. Our trims and fringes are also available to be dyed a custom color!
Custom Design with a Custom Frame

This custom frame was created with the unique combination of a round top ring and a square bottom ring. These choices were made to compliment the lamp which consisted of round as well as square parts.

The shade is fabricated from Shantung silk. The trim is custom made and is applied to the shade in layers. The silk covered 12 mm balls suspended from the bottom are hand wrapped. This particular style of handcrafted trim was very popular during the 1920's. The delicate silk floss used on this trim produces a ball that looks like satin. The smocking on the shade is also custom designed. Smocking adds an interesting detail to simple shades and can be very versatile. This shade was designed by Bonamici Designs.
